Take a break while your canine companion embraces the outdoors and makes new friends!

  • Please have your fur family ready to go with a collar or harness on and leash. The first day they will go in an area that doesn't mix with the whole pack before we go walking. Once everyone is out of the van, the new dog is introduced at their own pace on a long line. It's a lot of stimulation and exercise so expect your fur family to come home tired!

  • Rain or shine (but please leave a towel out for those rainy days so I can rub them down). The one thing that may cause a cancellation is heavy wind due to flying debris and falling branches in the forest.

  • It depends on the day’s pack. Pack walks are up to eight dogs in a fenced area.

  • 9/10 times, yes, but not always!

  • Depending on the age/size, puppies can join the small dog walk. This teaches respect for little dogs, general dog manners and prepares them to move to a larger-sized pack when available. Alternately the older puppies can join one of our gentler walks.

  • Pack walks encourage dogs to walk along together without frequent face-to-face interaction. Over time, walking together builds trust and tends to avoid competition and insecurities that come with other kinds of socialization.

  • Safety is a priority on my walks, and all dogs are tested for social compatibility and matched with suitable pals. Dogs are started on a long line until everyone is comfortable with each other. All of our clients must be up-to-date with their current vaccinations and sterilized.

  • Apologies! I can be very chatty as some of you already know but when you're picking up 6-8 dogs those 3-5 minute brief chats add up fast! It's best to catch me on the drop offs or shoot an email or text if you want to chat or give me information about upcoming holidays etc.

  • South end pick up / drop offs are on Wednesday afternoons.

  • In a public pack walk your dog is constantly mixing with new dogs, which is great for some dogs but not others. Private pack walks match the dogs, introduce them and then they have consistent pals with behaviours that are familiar.

  • I have business insurance for vehicle travel but do not have the type of insurance that covers vet bills if, for instance, your dog swallows something during a walk. That is the responsibility of the owner.

  • Not at this time

  • I do! Some things I’m open to bartering for include fire wood, esthetics (hair cuts, mani/pedis etc.), yoga classes a other things too! Reach out and we can chat.

  • Please give me a minimum of 12 hours notice if you need to cancel your dog’s pack walk. Most of the time I can fill this space as there’s a waiting list for most walks. If you cancel three times consecutively, you may lose your place in the pack. Please remember this is my income as well as my love of dogs.
